Directory Traversal and File upload allows execution of arbitrary script on the Management Server

Attackers exploited a previously unknown flaw in Check Point's Security Management Server in a handful of targeted attacks on July 23, 2026. The flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker who can access the server's web service to execute scripts on the server. Check Point released a fix on September 22, 2026. Check Point's advisory describes the issue as a pre-authentication path-traversal vulnerability leading to arbitrary-path script execution and Java class loading, with a CVSS score of 9.8.
