Google Chromium V8 Out of Bounds Write Vulnerability

CVE-2026-87491 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the Chrome V8 JavaScript and WebAssembly engine. Remote attackers can exploit it through crafted HTML pages to execute arbitrary code inside the browser sandbox; successful exploitation may also expose sensitive memory or cause a crash. Google reported that an exploit exists in the wild and released patched Chrome versions for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
